Better Services and Value for Money
Trafford has the lowest Council Tax in Greater Manchester whilst Government watchdogs have confirmed that under the Conservatives, Trafford is a 'low cost, well-performing Council that is 'improving well'.

 

While Labour wasted millions on mismanagement when the controlled Trafford and the Lib-Dems want to tax you even more, local Conservatives have embarked on an ambitious efficiency drive to save taxpayers an extra £7m per year.

 
A Greener Cleaner Borough
Recycling and compositing rates in Trafford have quadrupled to over 29%, whilst tough enforcement action is being taken against perpertrators of environmental offences.
 
Trafford Conservatives have recently announced plans for doorstep collection of plastic bottles and cardboard and plan to deliver an extra 7,000 miles of street cleaning per year over the coming 12 months.
 
Improving Roads and Pavements
Trafford Conservatives have increased funding every year since taking control of Trafford and plan to invest an extra £7m over the next 12 months (four times the amount under labour).
 
Local Conservatives are committed to go on improving our vital infrastructure and are determined to halt Labour's Congestion Charge.
 
Fighting Crime and the Fear of Crime
Local Conservatives have fought anti-social behaviour through the use of CCTV, dispersal orders, taxi marshalls, alley gating schemes and ASBOs resulting in a reduction in crime rates. Trafford in now one of the safest places to live in Greater Manchester.
 
While police have been taken off our streets under Labour, an extra £500,000 has been allocated by Trafford Conservatives to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
